I have too many things to say about what’s going on in our country, but – to be honest – I have not been heavily involved in politics until the last few years, so I recognize the limitations any such observations or criticisms might have and will, thus, keep them to myself (for now). That said, what I do know is that we need change. What I also know is that, in order to change – in any area of Life – you need to do something different. When it comes to our government, that change – for me – looks like no more party-politics, no identity-politics, no more pandering. Just walking the walk, talking the talk, thinking, feeling, believing and behaving differently.
When it comes to the future of our constitutional republic, that change – for me – looks like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., a man who has been doing and wants to do things differently and can be the change we wish to see in this country.
Not because he is “new” to politics by any stretch of the imagination, or because he is the “wild card” that might upend or things, but because he truly has always – even when his party + family denounced him – independently walked the walked and talked the talk. And that Walk and that Talk has consistently – without fail – been about:
- PEOPLE,
- CHILDREN,
- ENVIRONMENT,
- HEALTH
– most importantly – - FREEDOM
Again, I have so much more to say about this country’s history, future, problems and solutions, including the possibility of electing someone like Bobby, a client, mentor, colleague, and – dare I say it? Friend – but I’ll let him do the talking himself.
HOW? WHEN? WHY??
